SPSS South Africa is a South African company with the distribution rights for SPSS products in South Africa and the majority of Sub-Saharan Africa. The organisation, founded in 2001, is owned by Dr Amos Barkai and Dr Mike Bergh.
SPSS-SA strives to achieve market penetration through a combined offering of an acclaimed suite of analytical products and a superior level of consulting and technical support. Independent research has revealed proven success brought about by SPSS software. One assessment in particular, conducted by Nucleus Research Inc., found that 94 percent of SPSS users achieved a positive return on investment with an average payback period of 10.7 months.
