OLRAC SPS is the conglomeration of 2 companies formed by Dr Amos Barkai and Dr Mike Bergh, namely Olrac and SPSS South Africa.  Olrac was founded in 1989 to provide analytical consulting support for the South African and the international fishing industry. Amos and Mike then founded SPSS South Africa in 2001 and obtained the distribution rights for the IBM SPSS products in South Africa and in the majority of Sub-Saharan Africa countries. Amos and Mike’s philosophy has been to employ highly technical and analytical consultants and hence it makes sense to merge the skill set of the 2 companies to form a unified and consolidated team of analytical and IT specialists.

IBM SPSS is a leader in statistical and predictive analytics technologies. OLRAC SPS Predictive Analytics Unit (formerly SPSS South Africa) has the distribution rights for IBM SPSS products in South Africa and in the majority of Sub Saharan Africa. OLRAC SPS has a highly competent technical group of consultants offering advice on software solutions,consulting on both short and long term projects, technical support and extensive training to ensure optimal use of the software.
